Overview

Backwaters covers a large, wide layout with several branches competing for attention. Zoom into the viewer when comparing side paths, then reset before planning a full-area sweep.

Route notes

  • Break the map into left, center, and right passes instead of trying to clear it all at once.
  • Mark any path that loops back, since those connections are the fastest way to reduce repeat travel.
  • Treat isolated pockets as cleanup targets after the main route is understood.

Cleanup checklist

  • Inspect the top and bottom edges for small branch starts.
  • Compare long horizontal routes against nearby vertical exits.
  • Keep reward and enemy notes tied to the branch where they actually appear.
